The Tyrant King

I am the narcissistic King at the centre of the world.

I must be seen and admired. I am the supreme King.

I lead and rule for power and prestige. I pursue the path of power;

I am the master of power-over and power for myself.

I am the law. I am the source of order. I am the state, the Kingdom.

“Laws become fragile under the influence of dictators.”
Wayne Gerard Trotman

I have a strong sense of entitlement.

I only serve myself. I love myself, only me. I demand that you love me. I perform for love, attention and praise.

I use love. I pretend to love you as long as you are useful to me and do as I say.

I want you to follow and love me, so you do my bidding, but my loyalty is only to me.

"Never give importance to anyone more than yourself,

because once that person becomes important,

you become nothing...."

I love power. I instill fear.

I manufacture hate.

I love authority, influence and status

so I can control and abuse.

“There was a monster in me that had to be fed by success.

There is a monster in us all that has to be fed by something.”
Chloe Thurlow

I am addicted to the joy of winning, of getting what I want. I revel in the joy of making a huge deal.

I am power crazy, punch-drunk.

I constantly compare myself to others to check that I am the most successful,

to confirm that I am superior, and that I rank as the top dog.

My Life Vision is to have the power, prestige and possessions.

I gain power so that I have control.

I model everyone being out for themselves.

when they have been held together with lies.”
Dorothy Allison

I inflate my gifts and exaggerate my talents and achievements.

I seek positions of power

to be admired and respected and to show you

I am superior to you.

I narcissistically proclaim my genius.

I am over-ambitious.

My success and abundance are too hot;

I'm all or nothing.

I move from incredible success to crash and burn.

I overextend myself due to lack of discipline and become very scattered.

I sink into exhaustion, confusion and distraction.

I manipulate and use the truth.

I pretend, lie and cheat.

I am ceaseless, restless, searching for something beyond my grasp.

I have no peace within, and I create a divisive storm in the world.

I am terrified of failure, so I fight to be successful and significant.

I am impatient, rude, snobbish, disdainful, arrogant and patronising.

I create war and destroy peace. I manufacture conflict and wage war to gain power and further my aims.

I am the patriarchal father.

I demand respect simply because

I am the parent.

I don't mentor;

I tell you what to do and think.

I hate, fear, and attack new life,

brilliance or rising talent.

I create darkness.

I am irrational, paranoid and abusive.

I magnify darkness,

and I generate hate and fear.

I only and constantly bless myself.

I make sure you bless me too.

I do not bless,

praise or honour you.

Beats all the lies you can invent.”
William Blake

the more likely he is to have extreme prejudice.”
Clint Eastwood

that they will burn you just to see a light.

Try not to take it personally.”

“My father was one of those men

who sit in a room and you can feel it:

the simmer,

the sense of some unpredictable force

that might, at any moment,

break loose,

and do something terrible.”
John Burnside

I speak too much and too loudly.

I am the only voice that needs to be heard.

I talk non-stop. I ramble;

I talk to stay in control.

I give mixed messages. I abuse others verbally. I gossip.

I manipulate with words. I slander, denigrate, mock, harangue, and scold.

My words create discord, strife and turbulence.

I don't listen.

I don't want your truth.

There is only room for me.

I don't take advice or accept council.

I close my ears to distress and pain around me.

“Whoever controls the media,

controls the mind”
Jim Morrison

I am over-enthusiastic, overpowered, over energised.

I have nothing to be grateful for. I created it all. I am grateful for me
